Our story
We started with one roof and one question.
The question was simple: is this thing actually working? The inverter app showed a number. The utility bill showed another. Nothing connected the two, and nothing said what to do next.
Soladex brings production, consumption, the grid and your rate plan together in one place, then explains it in plain language. We built it for homes first. Installers came next, because they had the same question across hundreds of roofs.

The team
J. Mark Suacci
Mark has 20+ years of contracting experience as a licensed C-10 Electrical Contractor, backing up construction with a California General Contractor (B) Classification. Mark installed the first grid-tie solar PV system for commercial and residential use in 1996, which generates more than 1M kWh per month, making it sustainable with battery storage.
Colin Teahan
A software engineer and data analyst who has worked as a professional software engineer for 8+ years, most notably developing education-based software for Padlet, with over 60M active users. He single-handedly developed its mobile application for iOS and Android, which took the company to the top of the iOS App Store chart. Colin handles everything tech-related, from the website to the database.
Daniel Wilson
Customer acquisition and business development: Daniel is a business development specialist with over eight years of sales experience spanning real estate, solar/EV and tech. He is proficient in SQL, Python, GIS analytics and financial forecasting.
